We spent the evening at our friends', Scott & Cinda's, house watching fireworks for Vivienne's first 4th of July celebration...

Timeline

August 2004 - First came love...

April 2006 - Then came marriage...

August 2008 - Where's the baby carriage?... After two years of unexplained infertility we prayerfully decide to pursue adoption

Fall 2008 - Winter 2009 - Research agencies and international / domestic programs

May 2009 - Submit our application for domestic open adoption

September 2009 - Attend homestudy classes for adoptive parents

November 4, 2009 - Homestudy is complete! Our portfolio is available for birthmothers to view.

March 15, 2011 - THE CALL! Our social worker called to tell us an expectant mother wants to meet us!

March 22, 2011 - MATCH MEETING! We meet T. for the first time at our social workers office. She asks us if we'll parent her baby! We say YES!!!!

May 30, 2011 - It's a girl! Vivienne Rose O. is here! She's beautiful and we are madly in love!

June 24, 2011 - Our family of two becomes a family of three! Vivienne is home with us!

December 28, 2011 - Adoption Finalization Day! Court hearing in our state to finalize our adoption of Vivienne! It's official... she is stuck with us! :-)
